Santo Riva, DPT, OCS, NASM-CPT
OwnerSanto Riva, DPT, OCS, NASM-CPT was born and raised in West Los Angeles. In 2003, he became licensed as a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine so he could share his passion and knowledge for strength training with others. Motivated to expand the population he could work with, he returned to school to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California. He then completed an orthopedic clinical residency, also at USC. This unique experience not only sharpened his clinical reasoning and manual skills, but also put him on the other side of the classroom, where he taught students in USC's physical therapy and medical programs. In 2013, he became recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. In 2015, he was hired by USC's Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy as an adjunct faculty member.

Amber Leonard
Doctor of Physical TherapyAmber Leonard, DPT is a licensed doctor of physical therapy. She received an undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Pepperdine University and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from USC. As a former competitive gymnast, dancer, and runner, Amber has a passion for health and fitness and a thorough understanding of movement and body mechanics. Amber’s strong manual skills and extensive knowledge in strength, resistance, and sport-specific training allow her to excel in rehabilitating patients with orthopedic injuries and training athletes for return to sport. In addition to rehabilitating patients with orthopedic conditions, Amber has worked as a pre- and post-natal specialist for over six years. She treats pregnant and post-partum women with musculoskeletal conditions including but not limited to low back and hip pain, sacroiliac dysfunction, pelvic misalignments, carpal tunnel, c-section sensitivity, and rectus diastasis. Amber specializes in allowing women to have a pain-free and healthy pregnancy and assisting post-partum moms to regain their fitness and return to living an active lifestyle.
